About Us

The passion for the well-being of children, individuals, marriages, and families, motivated Dr. Otuno and her husband Godwin Otuno co-founder of Christian Leadership Int. Ministries (CLIM) to start the Center for Marriage & Family Health (CMFH) a faith-based, non-for-profit counseling center in 2005 as a counseling arm to the CLIM ministries. The CMFH operates using volunteer employees under the supervision of Dr. Otuno who obtained her doctorate in Clinical Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University where she also received her masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2005. Dr. Otuno is licensed in the State of Tennessee as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and a fellow member with American Association of Marriage and Family Health (AAMFT). She is also a trained facilitator of Pre-pare /Enrich.

Fee Policy

To serve the needs of the community, the counseling fees are lower than what most agencies or individuals may charge. Our decision to enter the non-profit world is based on our belief that everyone deserves a chance to improve their marriage, their families and their lives. Our fee is based on a sliding scale system beginning at $30 to $95 per hour (50 minutes). With this system, no one is excluded based on income, and quality counseling services can be afforded by all. The client is responsible for reimbursing the CMFH for charges not covered by third party and all payment are due at the time service is rendered for self-pay client unless prior arrangement has been made.
